Coach Zach Stevens

Coach Zach brings over 20 years of baseball experience and a deep passion for player development to the Texas Spartans program. A former infielder who primarily played shortstop and hit at the top of the lineup, Coach Zach competed with elite travel programs including the Dallas Tigers and Texas Stix Baseball Club before playing collegiately at College of the Siskiyous in California.

He specializes in fielding fundamentals, baserunning technique, and a disciplined hitting approach built around consistency and getting on base. Coach Zach focuses on helping players develop game awareness, defensive precision, and the confidence to compete at a high level.

Since 2015, he has provided private instruction and player mentorship to youth athletes across North Texas, training players aged 8–15 in both individual lessons and team environments. Known for his calm leadership and attention to detail, Coach Zach teaches the importance of discipline, accountability, and teamwork through the game of baseball, and always emphasizes learning and leading through the glory of God.
